Harrison County Mugshot Records
A booking photograph records appearance during a specific jail intake. Harrison County’s released roster pairs that photo with a name, booking number, booking and release timestamps, charges, bond information, and a profile link. Those fields identify the booking episode. They do not prove guilt, explain the final court outcome, or show where the person is now.
The photo can remain an agency record even after its public web display ends. Public display and record retention are different. No one channel covers every Harrison County release photo. A county booking image, a MODOC identification image, and a registry photograph serve different records. Match the image to its agency and date before deciding it belongs to the custody episode being researched.
Harrison County 48-Hour Mugshots
The official Harrison County released roster is the first place to look for a recent booking photo. The inspected entries showed the image beside the person’s name and booking details. Search by name, then copy the booking number and exact release date and time. Open the profile while it remains available to compare age, identity fields, arresting agency, dates, charges, and bond.
The roster proves that Harrison County jail custody ended for that booking. It does not state an explicit release reason or destination in the list view. A person may have bonded out, completed a local term, received a court order, or transferred. Charges and bond also may change later. Request Harrison County Booking Photos
After the 48-hour display closes, make a focused Sunshine request to the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office. The Sheriff’s forms and documents page does not publish a dedicated booking-photo request form or a fixed photo fee in the sources reviewed. Call 660-425-3199 first to confirm the current records custodian and preferred delivery method. Administrative hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Identify the person by full name and the approximate booking period. Add the booking number when known.
- Ask for the existing booking sheet, booking and release timestamps, release or disposition code, related case number, and booking photograph in electronic form.
- Include the arresting agency and date of birth only when lawfully known and needed to distinguish a same-name person.
- Ask the custodian to separate and produce open portions if another part is closed under section 610.024.
- Request a cost estimate before chargeable copying or research begins, and prefer electronic delivery.
- If access is denied, request the specific legal basis in writing. Do not ask staff to create a new narrative or interpret the case.
Written requests may be sent to Harrison County Sheriff’s Office, 1501 Central Street, P.O. Box 169, Bethany, MO 64424. Avoid unnecessary sensitive details in an ordinary web message because the Sheriff warns that email is not secure.
Under section 610.023, the custodian must act as soon as possible and no later than the end of the third business day after receipt. That is a response deadline, not a promise of final production. If access takes longer, the response must explain the delay and give the earliest date, place, and time for access. Section 610.026 governs permitted copy, labor, media, and research charges. The Missouri State Highway Patrol registry can show a photo for a person who is legally required to register. That registry is specialized. It does not list all Harrison County released inmates, and it does not establish the exact jail release time. Corrections and registry images should never be used as substitutes for the county booking record.
Remove Harrison County Release Mugshots
The clean correction path starts with the source custodian. Contact the Sheriff about Harrison County booking, release, or photo data. Contact MODOC about its identity image or status. Court staff address docket access and closure orders. The Highway Patrol or local registering official handles registry errors. Give the exact record, explain the claimed error, and provide the court order or other official support when one exists.
Missouri section 610.140 provides an expungement process for eligible matters. An order can change access to records held by the court, Sheriff, police, prosecutor, Highway Patrol repository, and other named agencies. Section 610.120 explains that closed records are kept confidential and removed from ordinary public access rather than destroyed. A vanished image may therefore reflect legal closure, not proof that no booking occurred.
No current Missouri government source was found that establishes a special statewide commercial mugshot pay-to-remove law. That is an absence finding, not legal advice. Do not pay an unknown service based only on a promise that it can erase every copy. An official correction or closure order should be directed to each relevant custodian, while old third-party copies should not be treated as authoritative.
Public-record and use notice: A booking photo may be restricted by sealing, expungement, or another closure rule. This privately operated resource is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and mugshot information cannot be used for credit, employment, tenant, insurance, or any other FCRA-regulated purpose.
Verify Harrison County Mugshot Identity
A photo helps distinguish people with similar names, but it is only one matching point. Start with the booking number. Then compare the booking date, release timestamp, arresting agency, and court case. Harrison County houses people for other counties, so a person displayed in its roster may have a case and release authority outside Harrison County.
