Purpose and Private Status

Harrison County Released Inmates is a private reference resource. It is not part of a sheriff’s office, jail, court, corrections department, parole agency, or federal custodian. No official jail roster, court file, release record, or corrections record is stored here. The site cannot confirm whether a person is in custody, order or arrange a release, accept a filing, change a government record, or act for an agency.

Its pages point visitors toward public resources associated with the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office, Harrison County Detention Center, Missouri courts, the Missouri Department of Corrections, MOVANS, and federal locators when relevant. Some pages also connect to independently operated research tools. Each outside source controls its own information and services.

Permitted and Prohibited Use

No Consumer Reports

Harrison County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not offer background checks, credit reports, consumer reports, or screening services. Its advertising and search partners do not provide those services through this site.
